What's the cancellation policy? We know life can be unpredictable, and we don't want you to stress about your reservation. Here's what you need to know about cancellations at Airydale Retreat: If you chosen our Non-Refundable Rate, we totally get that you're a decisive person who's locked in those dates. Unfortunately, that means we won't be able to offer a refund or rescheduling. However, we bet you have a friend or family member that would LOVE if you gifted your reservation to them! If you booked with our Standard Rate, you've got a bit more wiggle room. You can cancel or reschedule up to 21 days before your arrival date for a full refund (minus a $25 cancellation fee). If you need to cancel within 21 days of your arrival, we won't be able to offer a refund or rescheduling. Want even more flexibility? We've got your back with our Flexible Cancellation Add-on. With this, you can cancel up to 4 PM on the day BEFORE your arrival date and receive a full refund (minus the Flexible Cancellation add-on fee). Just remember that the add-on isn't valid with our Non-Refundable Rate. If you've got any questions or concerns about our cancellation policy, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We're here to help!

What is the Check-in and Check-out process like? We're a family-run glamping business, and our aim is to treat our guests like one of our own. So, we've made the check-in process as informal and stress-free as possible. When you arrive at Airydale, you can head straight to your glamping site, following the signs along the driveway. We'll swing by in the evening to say hello, answer any questions you have, and make sure you have everything you need to make the most of your stay. If you have any questions in the meantime, just shoot us a text (our number is in the confirmation email). Checking out is just as easy. When it's time to go, simply turn off any lights, fans, AC, or other appliances, close up your tent or dome, make sure the campfire is safely out, and take your trash and recycling to the designated area. That's it! We want you to spend less time worrying about logistics and more time soaking up the peaceful vibes at Airydale Retreat.

Can I reschedule my reservation? We totally get it - life can be unpredictable sometimes. We will try our best to work with you in rescheduling dates, according to the following parameters: With our Standard Rate, reservations more than 21 days from arrival may be rescheduled (rescheduling fee applies AND rescheduling must be finalized BEFORE 21 days from arrival). Reservations within 21 days of arrival cannot be rescheduled (perhaps consider gifting the reservation to a friend or family member). Once you reschedule, your reservation becomes non-refundable, no matter what the cancellation policy is. Unfortunately, reservations made with our Non-Refundable rate type cannot be rescheduled.

Is Airydale pet friendly?Absolutely! We request that dogs remain on a leash at all times, that their droppings are cleaned up and disposed of, and that they are never left alone. Please be sure to add the Pet Fee when making a reservation. Service dogs, those that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability, are allowed to accompany guests. We don't charge a fee for service dogs, but it is helpful if you note on your reservation that you'll be bringing a service dog. Should the service dog cause damage to an accommodation, we may charge the same fee for damages as charged to other guests.

What are the Check-in and Check-out times at Airydale? We invite guests to check in anytime after 4 PM. If you'd like to arrive earlier, we offer an Early Check-in add on. When it's time to say goodbye, check-out is at 11 AM.
-
Can we bring an extra tent along? We do not offer "traditional" tenting at Airydale and don't allow tents to be set up at the Glampsites. If you need additional sleeping accommodations, feel free to shoot us an email and we can give you recommendations for which combination of glampsites would be best for your group.

What is the bathroom situation? The Domes each have indoor bathrooms with toilets and shower. The Cardinal and Towhee sites have their own private bathhouse (located about 50' - 75' from the sites) with a flushing toilet and sink! These sites each have a private outdoor shower with heated water (may be unavailable late fall / early spring due to freezing temperatures).
-
Does Airydale Retreat provide firewood?Yes! All of our sites have their own private fire ring for campfires. We have firewood available on site, as well and kindling and other materials to start the campfire. We don't charge a set fee for firewood but welcome monetary donations. Firewood may grow on trees, but it doesn't split itself 😀

Are there bugs, bears, or other wildlife? We work really hard to keep bugs out of the sites and away from the general area, but it's important to remember that we are invading their home as much as they invade ours! It's a good idea to bring bug spray along. We're also more than willing to drop by your site during your stay if you happen to see insects inside. As far as wildlife, we have a plethora of little woodland creatures like rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks, as well as some critters that like to venture out at night, like opossums and racoons. While these little critters aren't necessarily harmful, they love cleaning up food scraps! So it's important to keep your food in ice chests or other sealed containers and trash / food scraps in the trash cans away from sites. Every couple years we see a bear, but they really don't like people and are easily scared away

How much does a glamping getaway at Airydale Retreat cost?We totally get it - you want to know how much it's going to cost for a unique glamping getaway at Airydale Retreat. The answer? Well, it depends! Pricing varies based on the specific glamping site you're interested in, as well as whether you're booking for a weekday or a weekend. But don't worry, finding out the price is a breeze: First, pick out the glamping accommodation that you're most excited about. Next, choose some dates that work for your schedule. Finally, sit back and relax as the current pricing is revealed to you. Easy peasy!
-
Is there cell phone service or WiFi?Most cell phone carriers have decent coverage in our area, with the exception of T-Mobile (though the recent addition of a nearby tower may have boosted T-Mobile service). We currently do not have WiFi on site, but may be adding it in the future.
-
What cooking supplies are available? Each glamping tent has a propane camp stove (with propane), cast iron skillet and dutch oven, basic cooking utensils, dish soap and pan for washing dishes, and ice chest (ice available at local stores). The Domes come with a furnished kitchenette with a 2 burner cooktop, sink, mini fridge, pots, pans, utensils, tableware, etc.
